What should I include in my enquiry?
Send your property postcode, a short description of the problem and any access details. If you have photographs, you can email them to enquiries@akmgroup.info. There is no need to climb onto your roof to take them.
Can you inspect the chimney with a drone?
Drone surveys at the repair quotation stage are offered free where suitable. Weather, location and flight conditions can affect access. Standalone surveys are quoted separately.
How are scaffolding costs handled?
Your written quotation explains any separate scaffold cost. Where arranged through us, you pay the scaffolder directly on the day of erection. Scaffolding is put up before the AKM work starts.
Can you repair the roof as well as the chimney?
Yes. Leadwork, slipped slates and ridge or verge repairs can be assessed alongside the chimney. We explain the proposed scope and costs before you agree to the work.
